    i got a i1300 and its pretty slow celeron 1.50 ghz is there anyway to get more speed or overclock.

    OC'ing is not really recommended and you really cannnot OC it high enough to see any tangible difference in performance.

    is it new? i would say reformat the HD and reinstall the OS. i'm sure you'll notice a difference.

    Well, it depends on what type of speed you are talking about. If you want quicker load times try a faster hard drive or perhaps more memory. After 1 gig, for now, adding more doesn't really make a lot of difference.

    I admit, I don't know much about your system. However, there's more to a system than the processor. Just like there's more to a person than their brain...their heart for instance. I had a Celeron running in a desktop for about 3 years, with a quick hard drive and lots of memory.
