Usually RAM has two tabs on the sides that you need to pull apart before it'll come out. By any chance are you omitting to pull those apart?

You should look in the service manual for whatever machine you might have, that'll give you instruction.

RAM will generally pop out in one of two ways, on a desktop the clips holding it in well lever the RAM out of the slot, and on a laptop there is often a sort of springy force (I don't know what it really is) so that when you release the clips the RAM will pop up. In the case that this is not happening after you release the clips, try wiggling it side to side the long ways, like a teeter-totter. The same method might work for a thumb drive if that's what's stuck, but it is hard to imagine a thumb drive getting that stuck.

He's not talking about RAM. He's talking about a memory card. I read it in his other post, too. To the OP, please do not double post.
