    hi guys i am confused when i opened the back to upgrade memory i only see one slot when the system registers 512 of ram and the memory indise is a 256mb in that one slot, i replaced it with a 512mb and it says 768 so i was wondering where is the other ram installed the other 256?

    The other RAM slot is located beneath the keyboard. There should be a service manual on HP.com which should explain in detail on how to remove the keyboard and access it.

    ok i have removed the keyboard but i don;t see where the memory module is on the left i see the wifi card thing, wats that metallic covering about?
