lets just say i had in my possession a t7x00 (x being an odd number between 3 and 7) and i wanted to upgrade the cpu in the laptop in my sig from a t7200 to a t7x00.
i know it is the same pin count, im just wondering if it will work with a bios upgrade or if it is totally not possible.

    It's not the same socket. A T7200 is Socket-M and a T7300/T7500/T7700 is Socket-P.

    T7300, T7500, T7700 are Socket P(santa rosa platform)

T7200, T7400, etc are Socket M(older napa platform).

Socket P and M are NOT compatible(they have the same number of pins but are not pin-compatible-different placement of pins).
