I am looking for ways to add a sata ssd to my notebook and I came across this adapter:

Would it be possible to put this into a wireless pci slot on a notebook and connect a sata hdd to it?

i don't see why not. looks like you'd have to have the drive outside your notebook though.

That's pretty cool.
You won't see much performance from a device like that over an ATA SSD.
You've also not considered how to get power to your hard drive. -

If you get an ATA SSD, it will perform fine compared to what you'd get using this card.
If you NEED high performance, then I think you NEED a new laptop (one with modern technology like SATA) -
