This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi all in the forum
    This is my first post so please be gentle with me. :)
    I am helping a friend rebuild his laptop, and you've guessed it he does not have the rescue disk. All is well and working except the modem. Although it will not be used I do not like yellow question marks in the device manager. The laptop model is ze4801ea, and I do not know the make of the modem so cannot look up drivers and they do not appear on the HP site. Any help on this would be gratefully accepted.
