I got home from work turned ion my trusty lappy to do some surfing and check my email, low and behold my screen started turning white like paper is paper is burning towards the middle of the screen . I have never seen anything like this, I have been around comps for a long time. I have posted a video on youtube so you guys can see what I am talking about.

WARNING= NOT FOR FAINT OF HEART= VERY DISTURBING MONITOR FREAKING OUT LOL

(my wife is taking to our dog in the background, please excuse the poop question, lol)

Well anyways i took my screen apart I didnt see obvious that was broken, I hooked up a external monitor now and it works fine, but one little problem. My problem the external monitor blinks blank every 30 secs or so, as long as i am moving the mouse it dosent blink, once I stop its blinking again.

I have a acer ferrari 4006WLMI, its out of warranty already. The external monitor is a NEC Multisync 1715
Just wanted to see if anybody has any ideas what might have happen to my laptop screen or what might be the problem with my external monitor blinking.

    thanks

Reinstalling video drivers with the latest might fix your external flicker, but I have no idea what might be wrong with the screen. If video drivers don't fix the external monitor problem, then I'd say it's the video card.

thanks guys for the for replies
I called acer, they couldnt give me any direct anawers without sending it in and charging me a ridicious amount of money to tell me what is wrong with it.
I found a replacement screen for about $500 not really sure its its even worth at this point, just to get rid of it and use the money towards a new lappy.
