    so i've got a standard aspect ratio LCD monitor from acer. i hooked it up to my laptop and it will only display in widescreen. if i try and go from widescreen to standard it won't let me and my monitor tells me there's no signal. any suggestions?

    i've got a toshiba m-100 with an ati x1400 and whatever the newest drivers from omega are. the monitor is a 17" acer and its hooked up via the normal vga.
