I have a new Dell Inspiron 1520 and a MS Wireless Optical 2.0 mouse (also known as Wireless Optical Mouse 3000). It works fine in most programs, also in windows but in some apps (Open Office and some games) the wheel behaves crazy.

In OO the tilt wheel is inverted...and the vertical scrolling is unresponsive. The unresponsivity is also there is a couple of games.

I have tried to disable the scroll on the touchpad, but it did nothing.

    Anyone with a similar problem?

Did you download and install the specific driver for that mouse from Microsoft?
