Hi,
I have a Dell Latitude C610 and I have the following problem:
The mouse (Logitech, wired, optic) and the touchpad from the Dell itself are not responding properly. The cursor is moving around irradically and I can't get control over it. So the laptop becomes useless, really.
The problem still exists when the Logitech mouse is unplugged.
I ran a virus diagnostics using Panda 2007 and that came up with no virus or anything.
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forums.
You might want to try updating your drivers. It's pretty odd that both the mouse and trackpad aren't working properly but see if new drivers do anything for you. For the trackpad, you probably want to try "Windows 2000/XP v8.3.4" here. Not sure what mouse you're using so you're on your own there.

Thanks Brett, I'll try that.

Using a mouse pad might simply solve the problem.
For the touchpad, you could try download downloading the Synaptics Touchpad drivers.
