    Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model KHX6400S2ULK2/4G thinking of buying this but dont no if it will work need some feed back.i like the thought 4-4-4-12. 118$i got 64 bit windows 7 and a intel core 2 duo cpu p9500 2.53ghz.pm45 chip set and a gforce 9600m gt thank for any thing u can come up with if it wont work i will go with g skill. :cool:

    it will work but even gskill would work but i would buy kingston.. way more reliable..

    The brand of RAM hardly matters IMO. That's why it's a waste of money to buy special gaming RAM and all that nonsense. There's no reason why the memory won't work, assuming you get the correct *type* (which you did).

    TBH unless your name is Mandrake, and you love OC'ing and benchmarking, RAM just isn't the bottleneck of the laptop - sure the tighter timing may help, but the difference would be a few % give or take, it's not gonna to be worth it.

    Invest in something like SSD would yield far more obvious gains.
