i have never dealt with mwave. newegg ive been ordering from for years but recently they just dont seem to be as cheap as they used to be on comparable things. i found a bunch of stuff im looking for at mwave and can save around 50-60$ overall.. is it worth it or save the hassle and buy from newegg i have never had one single issue with newegg. thanks for any input

Mwave isn't too bad. I've dealt with them in the past, but I still primarily stick to Newegg. The 'egg may not always have the cheapest prices, but they do have some of the best customer service in the business, and I think that more than makes up for it.
But their prices are never really BAD, so...

yeah i know what you mean i ordered from newegg. one day ill try mwave but not on a expensive order.. maybe something small first. i have never once had a single issue with the egg and hope i never do.. thanks

ZipZoomFly, MWave and Frys/The Outpost are all good alternatives to Newegg if they have what you want at the price you want, but if you're ordering more than one item, the additional shipping costs usually negative the savings. =/ I go to Frys a lot when the egg doesn't have the one thing I'm looking for.

I've ordered quite a few items from both mwave & newegg. I've been very pleased with the service from both companies. Newegg's return policy is awesome, never a question whenever I had to return or exchange an item. I don't know about mwave, never had to return an item from them.

well i was buying a cpu, hard drive, and a few other things to upgrade the wifes system.. so i figured for the extra few bucks if there is a issue with say the cpu i know ill get it taken care of for sure with newegg

I've done the zipzoomfly thing when it's cheaper, but it's always seemed like a hassle. Now I only buy somewhere else if Newegg just doesn't have it. Usually it ends up being something case or cooling related I get from Directron or FrozenCPU.
mwave or newegg who would you coose
