Hi guys. Maybe someone can put some light on what CPU's this chipset supports. I'm planning on buying a Asus X59GL-AP168 (which is a F5GL but with a different chassis) for about 400E (comes equipped with a slow celeron m 560) and I want to know if I can throw a P8400 in it.

    Thanks!

Its socket P 1066 FSB, so the P8400 will work. I could be wrong but from what I read it looks like it should..

From a mechanical point of view it should work, the sockets are identical.
    Are you sure? :)
