I'm considering buying a Toshiba Tecra A6 with the optional nVIDIA graphics card. Sadly their web site doesn't provide the maximum supported resolution for an external monitor. A call to their tech support folks didn't help. In fact, they made it clear that they no nothing more than what is listed on their web site. One guy even insisted that when connected to an external monitor it just clones what's on the LCD, and can therefore only do 1280x768. From what I hear, that's par for the course for Toshiba :( .

Can anybody help me out? What's the maximum resolution of this bugger?
