need advice on what todo

so i have a gateway 6959 which imprettypleased with.
so heres the question should sell it and use the money i have and what illget to get amacbookpro
or

should i use the money i have to upgrade the hd to a 200gb, memory to 2 gigs, and get a better video card and processor if possible?

i have about 800 and after i sellyhe hd and memory and such i have itllpay for prob the new hd and memory soid only have to dish into the 800for video card and processor

 

What is going to be left of your computer after your upgrades? There is no way it is worth upgrading not even to mention some of it not possible. Sell and buy new.

 

NEVER trust a company that packages their products like a cow! j/k... the gateway 6959 is a decent notebook but kinda out of date. The only thing that is worth while to upgrade is the HDD and RAM. To upgrade the video card and CPU will be very difficult it not possible since many notebook CPUs are soldered to the MOBO. As for the graphics card, it may be difficult for you to find a reseller that sells mobile graphic cards.
I'd strongly suggest selling your gateway and buy a macbook pro. It would be a much better investment

 

ok well what could i get for this? it will cme with
50 games/software diskd
carry case
usb mouse
gaming headphnes (cost me300)
a brand new ipod shuffle with itunes software installed on comp
and all factory programs
and the laptop is mint bought in late feb of this year still has warrenty never had a problem with it and such

 

Can't really say how much you can sell them for unless you give more specific details... e.g. the name of the games/software, the brand and model of the headphones, etc.
As for the laptop alone, you can probably be able to sell it for ~$300 on ebay

 

I second that. Sell it and get a Macbook Pro.
