Hi, Does anyone let me know what is the max performance for sony vaio NR110e?? what kind of processor and max RAM do I need? And, it still work well

You're limited to 2GB of RAM and assuming your max FSB is 533mhz (that of your current CPU) the best you can do is a T5300.
So it's not worth upgrading the CPU IMO, drop in a 1GB stick of RAM to take you to 1.5 or 2GB, and call it quits. -
Also, the same question with DELL Inspiron E1405, plz help me again. The processor and Ram now is T2300 and 512MB memory.

The E1405 supports a maximum of 2 x 1Gb memory (2GB). Pc5300 is the fastest memory which is supported by your system.
Upgrading from a T2300 to a T5300 is a really big upgrade. The performance difference per clock between a core duo and a core 2 duo cpu is around 20%. I had a T2500 and my T5300 is much more powerful despite its lower clock speed. core 2 duo FTW
