    Hi, Does anyone let me know what is the max performance for sony vaio NR110e?? what kind of processor and max RAM do I need? And, it still work well

    You're limited to 2GB of RAM and assuming your max FSB is 533mhz (that of your current CPU) the best you can do is a T5300.

    So it's not worth upgrading the CPU IMO, drop in a 1GB stick of RAM to take you to 1.5 or 2GB, and call it quits.

    Also, the same question with DELL Inspiron E1405, plz help me again. The processor and Ram now is T2300 and 512MB memory.

    The E1405 supports a maximum of 2 x 1Gb memory (2GB). Pc5300 is the fastest memory which is supported by your system.
    Upgrading from a T2300 to a T5300 is a really big upgrade. The performance difference per clock between a core duo and a core 2 duo cpu is around 20%. I had a T2500 and my T5300 is much more powerful despite its lower clock speed. core 2 duo FTW :D
