Just limit yourself to the T5300, T5500, T5600, T7200, T7400, and T7600 and you'll be fine. DO NOT GET A SANTA ROSA PROCESSOR BY MISTAKE.

I think he'll have a hard time finding a santa rosa.. they're not selling them separately yet..
It's pretty easy to change the cpu..just some AS5 thermal..

    Could i upgrade my CPU with a T7250 (2Ghz)processor ?
    http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00067607.html
    WHat's the socket ?
Is it difficult to change the procesor on the laptop ?
Has anyone done that before ?

    I have a T2250 (1,73Ghz) : it will worth it ?

    Thanks !

You have Socket M. The T7250 is Socket P. So you cannot get a T7250.

It should not be terribly difficult to upgrade the processor. Dell has service manuals for you to reference.

    Thanks a lot.
Well i don't know if it will worth it cos the socket M are too expensive...
If i refer to your Mobile processor compatibility guide, the 7200 could be a good choice. But my FSB is 533, so if i buy the 7200, i have to change my ram.

Have you a link of the gain of performance between T2250 and T7200 ?
