I have a Dlink Cardbus DWL G630. I followed the instructions perfectly, put in the card, and the light was flashing saying it was active. Then, sometime during the windows start up screen, the light starts flashing and windows wont recongize it. What could be the cause of this? The computer is a Presario 2135us refurbished.

Assuming that it came with drivers and you installed them properly, perhaps an updated driver can help?

Sometimes it works better if you install the software first, then put the card in. Miight want to update the firmware on you router.

Ah. I forgot to look at your sig. earlier! Man I feel like an idiot.... :p

Anyway, I had a problem like that once, and Comcast came over to fix it. Basically, the software and drivers for the card had to be installed first, then you put in the card and let windows do the rest! :D
