    need help with drivers for acer aspire 5100

    I bought the acer aspire 5100-3357 and it came with Vista home premium, but I hated it so downgraded to windows xp 32 bit, now ive had some exp with drivers and thought this would be easy but so far its fought me every step of the way and now i really need help. video driver first wouldn't work had to google it and FINALLY found one that would, but now im trying to find the audio one and i have not even the slightest of clue where to start accept acer website, which i tried and it wouldn't work, the xp version of 5100 doens't have the same thing as the vista one appearently. So basically i need all the drivers, mainly the audio and wireless drivers, oh and mic if thats not includes with the audio one. Please help me, right now all i can hear is BEEEP BEEEP BEEEp.

    Do you know what audio you have? So could search for drivers from part MFG website? SiSoft Sandra is free and gives you a lot of info on the components in your system so you could search that way. Or once you know look around the Acer site for a different notebook but with the same component and XP and try those drivers. SiSoft can tell you audio and wireless. Hope that helps.

    First have you been to this Acer sight? I found audio and wirless drivers for XP and Vista for 5100. Link
