I don't know that manufacturer, but going off the chipset, you can use any 800 FSB Core 2 Duo. Now keep in mind you may need a BIOS flash for your laptop to take any new processor.
Your GPU is Intel GMA 3100, integrated graphics. You cannot upgrade this. -
hi tnx for the fast replay. could you recommend me a processor? maybe a link.

It looks like the fastest that would be possible would be a Core 2 Extreme X9000 which will physically fit but may not be supported by your BIOS and at 2.8ghz might be in excess of your laptop's TDP specs.
So the max safe to use would be the T9500 Core 2 Duo at 2.6ghz. You can use any of the 800mhz or even 667mhz FSB Core 2 Duo chips. So I would go by whatever your budget allows and what speed you desire. Ebay is one of the best places to pick up used CPUs.
As long as you're not playing games, the 965 intel graphics are fine. They support Aero and are plenty fast for 2D. There isn't a way to upgrade that part anyways. -

Without paying an arm and a leg for a 800 FSB Core 2 Duo, I would pick between a T8300/T8100 or a T7500. The T9x00 series processors are just slightly more "speed" and "cache" and mean nothing in real world use/gaming. It only increases performance in synthetic benchmarks and rendering (which you shouldn't be doing on a laptop for the most part or you get a i7 notebook to do such work).

As far as I know Medion you should really make sure whether the CPU is available on a similar or the same model because otherwise your chances that the CPU is supported by the BIOS are pretty low.

Before doing the CPU and GPU upgrade consider the price of a system replacement with an i-core CPU and newer IGP or GPU. Notebook prices have taken quite a tumble.
need help with picking cpu&grafikcard
