My first notebook was a small averatec, it has a analog volume control on the side that I love so much, cause I always works late at night, I need to adjust my volume fast when I need to.
Now I have a fujitsu, the only way to control the volume is using the Fn key sortcut. I just hate it sooo much....but it's a nice notebook..
I am not in a market for a new notebook now, but is there any notebook still using analog volume control now? I seen some ipod like digital volume control, it's pretty good, but they tend to be on larger notebook, I need 13" or under.
Once again, I am not in the market for one, but if tere's something nice, I might sell my fujitsu .
    Thanks
