I was on their website (ocztechnology.com) and started to look at the different types of DDR2 667 memory they have: Titanium, Platinum, Gold, Special Ops, and Value.

It seems the descriptions of each one say they're designed for the gamers except for Value. Beyond that, I'm not quite sure what the differences between the types are (besides Titanium having the PowerSwap warranty).

So what are the differences and do they justify spending the extra moolah?

*edit* I just realized there are specifications of the types on the sidebars...but I don't really understand it still. Too much jargon for me*

The only memory applicable to notebook users at OCZ's site are their Value/Standard Memory. Look for the laptop modules.

The Plat, Gold....etc are aimed at desktop overclockers and gamers market.

I looked at PC5400, which IS (667mhz) notebook memory isn't it? If so, there are RAM sticks of every type.

make sure you look at the pin count, I would imagine PC5400 is available in multiple formats.

or, check somewhere like newegg so see what actually comes in a notebook size, then read about it at OCZ
