Not stupid at all. A portable dual mon setup is a pretty good idea. But yeah, there was already a thread on this. :)

I looked for video.. but found none..

Can one of you Ninja Pro's help me understand why not have an SLI..

Or even with some of the other machines you can order..

    ViDock2 w/ATI HD4670 512MB DDR3 Upgradeable External Express Card Graphics Card (Controls Dual External Displays) ( + 379 )

    Matrox DualHead2Go External Monitor Video Controller (2 External Monitors) ( + 169 )

    Matrox TripleHead2Go External Monitor Video Controller (3 External Monitors) ( + 319 )

    or....

    SLi ENABLED DUAL (2) 1024MB PCI-Express nVIDIA GTX 280M's (2048MB Total) w/GDDR3 DX10 Video Cards (User Upgradeable)

    As the minumum...

    http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-9800M-GT.9906.0.html

That they are offering.. It makes logical sense to me they (being GScreen) would cater to grapic design people, Cad operators and Gamers just to name a few.. the people would use and or want the machine becuase of the screen are stuck with it being under powered.. I understand they are new and starting out.. But a dual 17" screen with even a QX9650 in sli would make sense for the market they are carving out for themselves?

I am sorry for the Noob rant.. How about we get one of our local Ninja Pros to review it.. I am send an email..

Thanks for any time given and be well, JW

Because even 1 280m, let alone any card in SLI, requires more cooling than they are prepaired to engineer, and they'd rather target a wider market segment with a lower spec than go uber high end. Also, for battery life, if you already have two screens, that much GPU power will destroy your battery in no time.

    Email sent to GScreen..

How about a review when it does get launched by NoteBookReview.com. A thread has already started and I ma sure people will want to know the real deal. Just an Idea...

I Love the machine but I need a QX with sli.... or an i7 with sli... Esq.'s and other word heavy contract or writting will get good use for the added screen space but how about the power portion for Cad, 3D rendering and less we forget Gamers?

Thanks for you time and be well, JW

They have a prototype, but there is still plenty of time for it to turn in to vaporware. I don't know if this is the best economy to be releasing something like this in to anyway...

I'm waiting for the time when you get this ( http://www.americhip.com/) in a spring loaded rollup with suction cups you attach to a flat surface in front of you. Make the monitor as big or as small as you want, depending upon circumstance, and have it still be mobile.
