    Hello,

getting quite a few calls from people with dodgy laptops (motherboards or screens) Are there any UK websites for laptop parts at wholesale prices??

I have had a look on ebay but the average price for a new screen is £140!!! surley the vendors (dell/sony/HP) have some sort of outlet for parts? I just can't find!

    Help.

both seem still too dear, £150 for a screen, what's the point? I'll just buy a new system.

If anyone has good linkage give me a PM.

What screen are you looking for? I might be having a 15.4 1280x800 from my old PackardBell lappy.

I've several laptops and keep getting new enquires each day. At the moment all I can do is tell the,m to cough up £250 for a replacement screen/motherboard which includes my time to fit the part or for an extra £50-70 buy a dell from me.

Of course ideally I'd like to be able to offer them the part at under £100 an charge them £50 for the work. However at the moment screens & motherboards for present day - 3 year old laptops are coming in at £150+ on ebay and other "parts" websites.
