I'm trying to edit the phoenix bios i downloaded from the hp website, but it's not in .rom or .wph format, it uses installshield wizard instead. Does anyone know how i can save the bios as a .rom or .wph or where i can get a legal download of a phoenix bios?

Personally, no; but you might find some good leads from this website: http://www.wimsbios.com/phpBB2/topic9388.html The specific webpage linked contains a recent discussion regarding "fixing" the minipc whitelist in an HP BIOS, so that might be recent enough to give you some leads.

I've had some success finding things I wanted to know about my own Sony BIOS from that site, so it's worth poking around on.
