    hello, i dont know much about labtops, its ok to turn off hibernate in power settings ? i have the labtop on for max of 2 days striaght.
    And labtop and desktop are the same for usage time ? (turning it on for 2+days w/o shutdown and its totoally ok?)
    i need help plz.

    It should be quite OK to turn off Hibernation. If you do want to leave the laptop on for a few days and it is likely to sit idle for most of the time, then either set it to stand by or set the power options to turn off the Hard drive and LCD after certain period of inactivity. This helps save some energy and also elongates the life of the compnents most likely to fail.

    so if i leave it on for 2 days and its downloading.
    and hard drives are on, is that alright ?(since u cant do nething if hard drives are shut off right ?)
    iam pluged in using power cable not battery.
