    Hi all

I got an offer from a friend to buy his T7500 USED and Hitachi 2.5 SATA 320GB 5400 NEW for 280$ both. The price seem ok to me as I'm living in Europe and here the prices are higher. So my question is to buy or not to buy? And I don't know if the hitachi will fit in my aspire..Is there a way to find out ?

P.S. Oh yeah I forgot to mention. The price include shipping.

Is this for your acer aspire?

The harddrive will fit into your laptop, as the 320gb 5400rpm hitachi drive is a standard 9mm thick drive.
The processor is also a socket P processor, like your 2370, but you are going to get much worse battery life and its going to physikaly heat up more.
It will offer much more performance than your current processor.
I think you got those two parts at a steal of a price.
Make sure to use arctic silver on that cpu before putting the system back together.

Yes its for my aspire. I don't care much for battery life coz i barely move it off the desk, and as for more heat well using arctic silver as you suggest(thanks) and undervolting it will be ok I think.
