i have a VAIO SZ and a Logitech BT mouse v270. my mouse connects to the laptop with no problem, however there are times when the mouse doesnt respond for a while (around 5-10 seconds) and then responds again. this keeps happening over and over maybe with 10+ minutes intervals.

is this normal? or my mouse or laptop has a problem?

Have you tried changing the batteries with some fresh ones?

turn the mouse over when it happens, if you see a blinking led that means that the mouse is in power save mode. move it a little bit and it will turn back to normal. it happens it you do not use if for 5 min. or so i guess. if you run out of batteries you will see a red led blinkig at the back of the mouse. so it is quite normal, no need to worry :)

    Do you have wireless ?
If you have try disabling the wireless for 5 minutes and see what happens.
Bluetooth uses the same channel as Wireless B and G channels.
If the problem turned out to be the conflict in the signals, try repositioning the Router or changing the Channel. This might fix it.

when the mouse stops responding then i turn the mouse over, after a few secs i see a green light blink and then it responds again. but the mouse sometimes stops responding when i am still using it, not on idle. can i disable the power save mode? or the time for it longer to activate?

btw i only hav bluetooth enabled and no wifi

It should be over at the bluetooth options in the control panel or in the device manager -> device properties of the bluetooth device.
