    i have toshiba satellite 1905-s301.i got a gigabyte gn-wi01gs mini pci wlan card(turbo).a friend made the connection.now i want to aks although the card works ok i want to make it work with the hardware of the laptop.it has on/off switch for the wlan but it is dead with the card.what can i do?thnx in advance

    There was a comment in the Zepto forum about the hardware wireless switch working with the Intel card but not working with the Atheros card, so maybe response to a hardware switch is not a standard part of the wireless card design.
