    problem with sd car

    i have so many problems after fresh W7 install on my acer 8940G


    now when i put sd card into reader my laptop find card.when I try open to view pictures i got message that I must reformat card. i reformat card make new pixs and same.got message or freeze.sometimes pictures load partially and i am not able to view pixs.i update driever.

    now i see pixs preview but when I click on each picture Window Photo Viewer loading picture for long time and freeze


    what happen with my stupid laptop ????

    It may be a bad or damaged SD card. Have you tried loading it on a different computer?

    it's working on computer and camera

    I use 3 dvd set and I restore laptop to factory specc and now laptop don't see card.I put card into laptop and nothing.laptop don't find new hardware.

    I never had problems like this with HP laptops.I start to hate this computer.

    I install new driver from acer web page and computer see new hardware when I put sd card into laptop but I can't open to view pictures

    the laptop is new so there are going to be problems with some drivers... so be patient and wait for acer to release new drivers... otherwise call acer support and ask for help from them... and also try other cards... this card might be damaged...

    I restore laptop to factory default specs from 3 dvd set which I burn first day.
    Same problem.
    I instal same newer driver from acer web page and is working now

    but when I do same think with clean copy of W7 and same driver
    sd reader not worknot work


    I have no idea


    looks like it's better to NOT install fresh W7 on this machine and keep factory specs
    just delete all not nessesary programs

    I wouldn't give up on a 'fresh' install of Win 7, I would look into the proper install order of all needed drivers and utilities for your specific machine.

    I install drivers in same order as they are on acer webpage
    maybe next time I do this.now im tired because in last two weeks I reinstall windows hundreds time to make my laptop running good.
    after install of fresh copy W7 I did not have recovery partition on my hdd.

    obviously recovery partition won't be there... u have to format the whole hard drive to install a fresh copy of windows 7...
