do i need to download or buy a program to see the temp. of my laptop? or is it already installed i have the asus g1
-
I don't know if Asus bundles a temperature monitoring program with their notebooks, but NHC can do that and more.
EDIT: Oops, didn't realize it was not compatible with Vista >_<. Sorry. -
whoa that just crashed my laptop. is it compatible with vista?
-
Not yet. Try speedfan or rmclock
-
everest home edition works as well...fyi, you will get different temps with every program.
-
-
where do i get it?
-
i don't know....when i was running a stress test on my computer, everest didn't detect any change in heat in the cpu, while rmclock seemed to measure a fairly consistent rise in temps.

do you need to buy an extra add on to read the temp in your laptop or is the program alone capable?
-
No just download it, it's free.
-
You can also use HDTune.
