    putting in a new proccesor

    is easy or at all possible to input a new proccesor like in my inspiron 6000 would i be able to upgrade it to a pentium M or p4??
    i need like 800FSB is that even possible??

    Nothing much i can say here, but if your notebook came with a p4 then it has to stay a p4, If it came with a P-M then it has to stay a P-M the only thing you can do is just upgrade the clock speed. P-M and P4 have the same amount of pins, but the only difference is, the Key Pin is place on either side of the processor. To add to that the pin -out are different, IE; P-m Pin 3 = V-in where as P4 Pin 3 = V-out. So changing processor family is almost a no go zone.
