This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    g'day,
    the other day, i had to turn off my server for the power to be fixxed, i turned it back on again, and the picture is really really really dark. hardly viewable, though, the controls for the screen are still perfect, and when i connect up my laptop to it, it works fine. any idea what is happening? i would really like to ditch the server and try out linux!
