I have a Lexar Media JumpDrive Secure 256 mb usb key, thumb drive, pen drive, whatever you would like to call it. I was transferring something off from my desktop, and all of a sudden I get a message on the screen that there was a power surge in the usb drive. I tried to use the jumpdrive again and it wouldnt work. Hasnt worked since. Is there a way i can revive it?

That's an odd message; how old was the drive? Also, when you plug it in now, do the lights light up anymore?

Also try it in another computer and see if it recognizes it.

    Dun dun dun....

Sorry your flash drive got fried, and data retrieval has to be done by professionals that'll charge you an arm and a leg to get back partially corrupted data that's mostly useless...
