This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     i know this is a dumb question but i am kinda noobie and laptops .. i was wanting to upgrade my video card for my laptop from a 128mb ATI x1400 to a 256 gefource but not sure which model yet

    You should look in the graphics forum. You will almost certainly NOT be able to upgrade your graphics card. Notebooks don't work that way.

    Yes please look at the stickies in the gaming and graphics section of the forum. The only laptops that can be upgraded in this way are barebones and Dells and that's only a small amount of the time anyway.
