    your wireless internet speed is only as fast as your ______
    a) wireless card adapater in your laptop
    or
    b) your wireless router

    I want wicked speed when on the internet (games) :eek:

    i think im going to buy the intel next-gen wireless card sometime in the future for about 50$

    but if i get a router that doesn't support a 300mbps network card then i wont be getting those speeds right

    just double checking..thanks NBR!!

    I'd say if you get the 4965 agn, then it would be your router/internet connection. More times than not its the router simply because of a poor setup.

    We Have A Winner!!!!

    unless you have a fiber internet connection wireless G or N will have more bandwidth than your connection. Basically G and N have more bandwidth than Dial-up, DSL, and Cable connections.
