    there's this deal for Kingston 2GB 200-Pin PC2-5300 DDR2 SODIMM's for 15 buck a stick. first is that a good deal?

    second, would it work with my inspiron 1520?

    They will work. Whether or not it's a good deal, I'm not sure. I don't think it's a bad deal, though.

    Yeah, that's pretty much how it goes with DDR2 these days... save your old DIMMS and maybe you can sell them for more when prices go back up XD
