    can i use dual channel memory eve if windows only uses 3.4gb of ram?

    an getting a second 2gb of ram

    uhm, yes, as long as you use matching sticks of ram and the motherboard supports it. anything over 3gb is really a waste w/ 32bit os.

    windows xp is just felt better with dual channel
