    razer carcharias mic stopped working?

    hey guys, bought this headset after opening discussion on nbr on what headset to get got the razer because of the nice sleek look. Had for like about month and half.. and today 10 mins before posting this the mic has stoped working all of sudden... just the quiet static noise in vent.. Not on mute, no short in the wire, no driver issue. Laptop mic works fine. Put regular headphones (earbuds) in audio jack to see if problem was with that and no.. i can earbuds in there and they work... But the mic does not work all of sudden why? HELP!!!!

    Defect? Try it on another system?

    Yeah most likely a defect tried on my other computer,I woke up hoping it would work :( but no.
