is get this on my cloned seagate 7200 data drive:
    reallocatd sector count.PNG

is this a sign of a failing drive or could it be some artifact from the cloning procedure i did last night?

each HDD. has a reserved sectors to replace bad ones.
you should keep monitoring reallocated sector count, if it increase continuously, then you should consider replacing the HDD.

hd sentinel is great software. there is a trial version available > Download Hard Disk Sentinel

once sectors start getting errors get your data off it quick. i had 2 bad sectors on a western digital black drive and it caused no end of problems.

OP thanks for bringing this up, I have the exact drive for my storage, but health status is GOOD, RSC is exactly the same with Crystal (but my power on hours are only 1920).
