    might be a weird question but are there any affects to doing reinstalls as much as you need to..how about doing a lot of partioning..or once or twice..

    I still own the first hard drive I bought 7 years ago. I must have partitioned and reinstalled as OS on this thing well over 100 times and never had any undesired results.

    I don't think it is any more dangerous than creating and deleting files in everyday use.

    I'm no hard drive expert though, just a consumer. If you are very curious you might try calling some hard drive manufacturing tech support and seeing what they say.
