You would have to contact HP. I am in the process of getting the 1080P panel for my DV6-7043TX :p Just look in the service manual and get the part number. Then contact HP and they will ask for the part number and you pay for it and they send it out :D (I dont know the price of the panel)

The Intel HD4000 does indeed support 1920x1080. Anyway, it looks like the FullHD LCD display model is LG LP173WF1-TLB5. In addition to contacting HP, you can also buy a LP173WF1 panel from eBay (and it is most likely compatible).

You should also post in the HP forum for more information.

All GPUs support 1080p... at least, most GPUs made after I was born. :p

The screen cable is the only thing that could cause problems. If you currently have a 1600x900 screen however, there is no need to worry - it will support 1080p.

Checking if it will work is much simpler than you would think. Find pictures. Make sure the connector is on the same side as your screen, and make sure the mounting is the same (there are LCDs called "slim" lcds that have a different type of mount, but I don't know about any 17.3" slim LCDs).

As I recently had to point out in another different thread, you DON'T need to find an HP part number, a LOT of screen models will work perfectly, these are standardized parts here!
It appears as though the connector is on the left side while looking at the back (remember, when you take your screen out you'll be looking at the front of the laptop so your cable will be on the right side).
Here, this one looks pretty good, although its a matte screen:
