Is it possible to replace the GPU? I have a HP pavilion dv2000 and the graphic card is nvidia gefore 8400M. In recent days I get many errors corresponding to display driver (blue screen many times, screen flash abnormally and then nothing even mouse pointer don't move, ....).

If I can not change that component then I have to replace the whole laptop!!! :(

laptops are generally NOT designed to have their gpu changed. the exception is higher-end machine that use the rare MXM card standard.

laptops are NOT miniature desktop machines. their component-level upgrade and repair possibilities are (again, generally) 'limited' to complete motherboard replacement as well as other major components.

so yes, you will have to buy a new laptop unless you are willing to do the nvidia-specific disassemble and bake DIY procedure discussed at length (search is your friend) elsewhere in this forum.
