    Hey Just a question regarding ribbon cables inside laptops, do they use the same cables for the power? lcd keys, etc? seem the same size to me.

    Things like ribbon cables are proprietary on laptops since different laptops have different types of power panels, with varying types of buttons and controls. That doesn't mean that they are always different though. It all depends on the amount of pins a connector uses, and the length of the ribbon cable in question. Are you looking to replace a ribbon cable on your laptop?
