    Hi forum,

Ive been looking at upgrading my cpu on my notebook. I have a g2 cpu with socket rpga988b

I believe this is the micro socket pga988b not the regular pga988b socket.

Can I use a regular pga988B G2 cpu with the same chipset specs? Or do I need to use the same rgpa988b socket CPU?

What kinda laptop are we talking about? Did you look at the actual socket to get that specs or can you take a close up of the socket so others can see what it says for socket type???

I read the processor information with CPU-Z software.

I also see the processor on cpu-upgrade.com listed as a MICRO-PGA package cpu

I am not sure but I think MICRO-PGA cpu are different that the regular PGA

I am talking about Fujitsu lifebook

also does anyone know if 45w cpu will work on a notebook with a 35watt cpu?
