this one finally came out. they let sandisk beat them to market by about 6 months.
I believe this is going to be faster than the sandisk x400 . extremely similar but slightly better and will be slightly more expensive.
im personally looking for the release of the 950 1tb pro which is the only one that is 3d mlc on the market that is even been hinted at.

Hardware encryption support may be a selling point. Sandisk promised that for the X400 but it seems to only be available in the 2.5" version. Originally people were under the impression that SED would be provided via a firmware update but this doesn't appear to be happening.

i was once in the market for this but im not anymore so i dont know all the facts but thanks. right now there are 2 choices for this available.
thats 2 of the manufacturers.
so theres 3 more ssd nand manufacturers.
aftermarket can also use the nand of a manufacturer with their own product like mushkin does but they dont seem to have it together to make m2 size drives.....
but one of the 5 does not seem to want to make a 1 tb drive in this format they went straight to nvme.
samsung 850 evo m2 2280 1 tb ssd
