i read somewhere that the sandybridge cpu's have some form of h/w drm.
do any of you have more info on this and how its supposed to be implemented?

Yeah, it allows you to play a DRM'd file, but won't restrict playing one without it.
So, basically it won't affect us too much.

great! so it only pertains to intels hd streaming service- which i wont be using since internet here is so slow.
