hi everyone i want to know, most of laptop reviewers are check the colour gamut like sRGB, Adobe RGB using screen calibration. so my screen are 72% srgb, and trying to maybe 90% srgb or more, instead i upgrading to better screen or using the calibrator? sorry i new to this topic. correct me if i wrong

When you have a choice, ' always' buy better hardware. Software calibration may take you to your desired goals, at the expense of other aspects which you may not be aware of.

Colour accuracy (notebookcheck do this in their reviews) can be improved with calibration, gamut just sets the limits for it.
The low hanging fruit is finding a calibration profile for your model of laptop and screen, since same model screens can return quite different analysis results in different chassis. It will still not be perfect due to individual panel differences but it will be more than good enough for everyone bar the most picky professional users for whom accurate colour matching is mission criticalStarlight5 likes this.
