    Hi,
I have laud fan in my vaio and Speedfan is showing CPU fan at ~ 4699 rpm, sometime 5400rpm.
Second fan states 0 rpm. My question is is there a second fan in this model?
Is CPU temperature at 65C normal for idle work?
    thanks

To my knowledge, there is only one fan. And no, 65 C is rather high for idle. Chances are that it needs new thermal compound and/or cleaned.

thanks, it starts up at 45C and then slowly going up to 68C. It's maybe not completely idle because I have always opened chrome with bunch of websites.
Wonder if cooling pad would help and if it's hard to get inside this model to clean up this cooling compound.
