    Would it run any slower if i did that? I was just thinking of freeing up the ram

    What, you think they just hogged some RAM for fun? Of course it'll have an effect on your graphics performance. ;)
    The question is, will the loss in GPU memory be compensated for by the higher amount of available system memory?

    And the answer... Try it. I don't think it'll improve performance, but it depends on exactly what you're doing on the computer (because that determines which parts are loaded how and by what)

    but how much mb is dedicated memory if its 128 mb then u cane turn of hypermemory (shared ram)
    128 is ok
    but if it lower than 128 mb then it a bay idea

    I dont think you can on ATI cards.

    Correct, not possible. Until a BIOS update, no option whatsoever.
